Our Lead Counsel obtained LL.B (Hons) and LL.M International Trade Law from the University of Northumbria, at Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom.
She started her career at the Attorney General’s Chambers Malaysia (AGC) in 2006 as a Federal Counsel. She was trained under the most experienced trade negotiators for the Government of Malaysia at AGC. Her portfolio at the AGC included diplomatic and international law, international trade law, international environment law, outer space and private international law. She is well versed with many international treaties in those area.
She later joined the corporate sector as the Head of Corporate and Legal Department. Due to her extensive knowledge on international trade law, she was headhunted to join an international Luxury Wines and Spirit company. She has wide and extensive knowledge on international and domestic laws.

RAVIN KARUNANIDHI

Ravin graduated with LLB Honours from the University of Reading in 2008 and obtained his Certificate in Legal Practice in 2009.
He then completed his pupillage at Messrs Karpal Singh & Co and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 10.12.2010. During this time there, he was exposed to various criminal, human rights and constitutional cases which the firm was well known for.
In March 2011 he joined the National Consumer Complaints Centre (NCCC) under the Federation of Malaysian Consumers Association (FOMCA) and became the head of their Consumer Complaint’s Unit. He was also simultaneously the head of the Human Rights Desk of ERA Consumer, which is the Human Rights Arm of FOMCA.
During his three years tenure in NCCC / FOMCA, he was involved in various dispute resolution between consumers and corporations especially banks, telecommunication providers, automobile industry and property developers. He also represented the organisation in developing consumer policies with government of Malaysia and was actively involved in consumer advocacy.
Ravin took a sabbatical to pursue his Masters in International Relations in the United Kingdom after obtaining a Chevening Scholarship.
In 2015 he joined MCS Sdn Bhd, a facilities management company and served as its Director before returning to the legal practice in 2021 by joining Messrs Olivia Chin & Co as partner.
Ravin’s practice focuses mainly in criminal litigation and also Human Rights and Constitutional matters. With his past experience with Consumer Associations he is also able to take up public interest matters focusing on consumerism and also dispute resolution.
